Youth Deer Hunt

PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to give everyone a chance to go on a hunt this season, we ask parents to limit registering your child for one hunt every 30 days. 

Who can participate: This youth only deer hunt is for young men ages 7-18. 

Where: This deer hunt will be at the Friday Ranch near Uvalde, TX. Parents/guardians can drop off and pick up kids at location in San Antonio and Lytle.  Details will be provided as we get closer to the hunt

What to bring: Participants will need a current youth hunting license (available at Academy, Walmart, HEB, etc. for $7). Reaching Outdoors has all the gear needed for the outings, kids just need to bring clothes, toiletries, headlamp, sleeping bag and pillow.

Please note that Reaching Outdoors has an electronic disconnect policy on our weekend adventures and summer camps. Kids should not bring cell phones or other electronic devices. We will provide more details on that  in the paperwork that goes out prior to the hunt. We will also include a detailed packing list.

Cost: The cost for this outing is $75. Scholarship funds are available for those in need.
